Abstract: The aims of the research are to  take an overview of the trolleybus system, assess the status of the public transportation; make a survey in combination with investigation to make proposal for the development of the trolleybus connecting from Bien Hoa City to Ho Chi Minh Metro line 1 in the future. The development of this trolleybus system will serve the purpose of improving the public transportation system, meeting the travel demand with high quality service at reasonable costs, reducing traffic jams and traffic accidents, in line with the sustainable development of the transportation system of Vietnam in the future.
