In recent years, students of Lac Hong University (LHU) have achieved numerous outstanding accomplishments in activities and entrepreneurship movements. In addition, the success of LHU alumni has also made significant contributions to the University’s reputation.
Most recently, Mr. Than Van Linh – an alumnus of the Vietnam Studies program, Cohort 2010 – was honored to represent Dong Nai Province at the 2022 Luong Dinh Cua Award ceremony held in Da Lat City. According to Mr. Linh, he was fortunate to be contacted by a representative from the Dong Nai Provincial Youth Union to discuss his highly potential adventure tourism project, Tri An Adventure. The project represents the spirit of young entrepreneurs who dare to think and dare to act, introducing eco-tourism experiences in remote areas to both domestic and international visitors. His project was highly appreciated for its development potential.
After preparing his application, Mr. Linh successfully advanced through the preliminary and semi-final rounds to reach the final stage of the competition. Winning Third Prize overall, he stands as a testament to a generation of young people driven by aspirations to develop local tourism and bring the values of Dong Nai Province to greater heights.

During his time studying at Lac Hong University, Mr. Linh was an active and enthusiastic student who regularly participated in university activities. Notably, he won First Prize in the “Tourism Presentation Contest.” These experiences provided a strong foundation for him to develop his “brainchild” – Tri An Tourism Company.
With the launch of the Tourism and Travel Management program at LHU, Mr. Linh has continued to show special support for students through career orientation talk shows, year-end gatherings, and workshops on video design software. Having once been a student at LHU himself, he understands the challenges, concerns, and aspirations of younger generations. For him, giving back is both a joy and a source of fulfillment.
LHU students are not only supported by lecturers and enterprises but also benefit from strong intergenerational connections among alumni, all sharing the common goal of creating value for themselves, their families, and society.
