Students Participate in a Field Visit to Thien Long Long Thanh Manufacturing and Trading Co., Ltd..

In order to provide Business Administration students with opportunities for practical learning and real-world experience, on the morning of 22 December 2022, The Faculty of Administration International Economics organized a field visit for Business Administration students to Thien Long Long Thanh Manufacturing and Trading Co., Ltd. The visit was led by PhD Nguyen Van Dung – Head of the Business Administration Major, together with lecturers of the Faculty and the participation of 50 students.

In addition to acquiring knowledge at the University, FAIE consistently creates opportunities for students of its majors to participate in field visits and gain practical knowledge. Through the visit to Thien Long Long Thanh Manufacturing and Trading Co., Ltd., students were able to visualize the company’s organizational structure, management practices, departmental divisions, and the production process of a product—from the procurement of raw materials to the step-by-step procedures for product formation, as well as human resources, and other related aspects.

In particular, Thien Long Long Thanh Manufacturing and Trading Co., Ltd., operating in the production and trading of stationery, serves a broad customer base, ranging from pupils, students, and teachers to office workers. Understanding the essential nature of its products, after the visit, the company presented each lecturer and student with a gift set, including various stationery items such as pens, correction pens, erasers, and others, with the hope that lecturers and students would use these products effectively to achieve the best possible teaching and learning outcomes.

The four-hour internship observation at the company enabled students to learn many valuable lessons: confidence in communication, positive thinking, compliance with all occupational safety regulations, and the company’s consistent concern for the environment, community, and society, among others. It is hoped that this experience will serve as valuable preparation for students to accumulate practical knowledge, thereby creating favorable conditions for their future work and study.
