LHU Student Sports Festival 2021 opens

On April 25, at the LHU Physical Education Center, the opening ceremony of the Student Sports Festival for the academic year 2020-2021 took place. The Sports Festival was organized to motivate LHU students to exercise and maintain good physical health. The Festival is also looking for talented students to attend local sports tournaments.

On behalf of the University Management Board, Vice Rector Nguyen Vu Quynh spoke at the opening ceremony

Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial Student Association, provincial Head of the School's Youth and Children Department Vo Van Trung attended the event. The opening ceremony also saw the presence of Vice Rector Nguyen Vu Quynh,  Vice Rector Diep Cam Thu, Secretary of the Youth Union Le Son Quang, Chairman of the Student Association Tran Tien, leaders of units, officials, Union comrades, and a large number of students at all levels.

The Sports Festival atracted the crowded participation of students at all levels

The Student Sports Festival this year includes 9 sports with 23 categories and gathers more than 652 athletes, 10 men's soccer teams, 6 women's soccer teams, 6 men's volleyball teams, 4 women's volleyball teams, and many other categories.

Right after the opening ceremony, matches took place with many competitive subjects such as sack dancing, tug of war, swimming, ... 

Trophies for winners

LHU organizes the Student Sports Festival 2021 from April 21 to May 19, 2021. The University is expected to hold the Closing Ceremony and award the winner of “the Student Sports Festival 2021” on May 19.
