Exploring Japanese Mid-Autumn Festival and making Wagashi with Song Thuy artisan

A special workshop entitled "Exploring Japanese Mid-Autumn Festival and Making Wagashi" took place at LHU from September 11 to 13, 2024. The event organized by LHU's Department of Japanese Studies attracted the participation of more than 1,000 primary students from Lac Hong Bilingual School, and many students, lecturers and staff from LHU.

The workshop aims to help the participants gain a deeper understanding of Japan's unique culture during the Mid-Autumn Festival, at the same time learning and experiencing how to make Wagashi, the traditional Japanese sweet under the enthusiastic guidance of Wagashi artisan Song Thuy.
