LHU achieves AUN-QA international accreditation for 4 more programs

LHU has recently marked a significant milestone in its efforts to enhance education quality as four more training programs have achieved AUN-QA accreditation, bringing the total number of its AUN-QA certified programs to 14. This recognition reflects LHU’s unwavering commitment to providing high-quality education that aligns with the ASEAN University Network (AUN) standards. AUN-QA aims to improve quality assurance in Southeast Asian universities and foster academic collaboration within the region.

The four internationally accredited training programs include:

1. Automotive Engineering Technology (Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics)

2. Food Technology (Faculty of Science and Food Technology)

3. Chinese Language (Faculty of Oriental Studies)

4. Tourism and Travel Management (Faculty of Administration and International Economics)

These programs received official approval on October 26, 2024 with accreditation valid until October 25, 2029. The AUN-QA certification ensures that these programs meet rigorous academic quality standards, professional excellence, and global competitiveness.

This accreditation benefits both the University and its students. It reaffirms LHU’s commitment to continuous improvement and academic rigor while providing students with an internationally recognized learning environment. Additionally, it facilitates student exchange opportunities within the ASEAN network, enriching their global learning experiences.

Looking ahead, LHU’s mission aligns with several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). By ensuring top-tier educational standards and promoting international partnerships, LHU actively contributes to the global sustainable development agenda. This AUN-QA accreditation also positions the University as a leader in education and a driving force for long-term socio-economic growth.
