Party Committee

The Party Committee of LHU was founded following the Decision No. 09-QD/DU dated on September 12, 2000 by the Provincial Party Committee of Dong Nai. Mr. Lam Hieu Trung was appointed Provisional Secretary. 

The Party Committee, from the six original members, now has more than 100 members and fosters over 500 loyal Youth Union members.

LHU Party Committee's functions and responsibilities conform to the set of regulations of the National Party Committee, 163/QD – TW on April 15th, 2006.

1. Functions

LHU Party Committee, the political core unit of the school, encourages its members to abide by the Party’s policies and the law of the country, to carry out its duties, to protect the rights of its members and to ensure its integrity.

2.1 Political responsibilities

To educate and encourage party members as well as other personnel of LHU to abide by the Party’s policies and the law of the country, to carry out its duties effectively, to prevent violations and corruptions in different school departments.

To give advice to the University Management Board and administration in the development and enhancement of teaching quality, scientific research, student management, in promoting democratic regulations and financial transparency.

To promote the school staff to secure political and social safety on campus and in the surrounding locality.

To promote mutual assistance, raise the political, professional and ethical qualities of the administrative and teaching staff.

In cooperation with the University Management Board and the Rector to train party cadres, and other school organization managers to be more efficient and trustworthy in the educational enterprise.

Offering suggestions to the university authorities in personnel planning, training, assessment and placement.

Consolidating school organizations, abiding by the organization regulations and boosting competitiveness in assigned duties.

Cooperating with the University Labor Union to settle conflicts “between employer and employees” in accordance with the law, looking after the material and moral welfare of the university personnel.

Maintaining the solidarity and integrity of the LHU Party Committee, promoting its efficiency.

Practising criticism and self – criticism to improve the university party activities, maintaining LHU Party Committee’s prestige…
