A solemn handover ceremony for the Learning Outcome Measurement Software between LHU and Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy was held on June 10, 2025, marking a significant milestone in the effective collaboration between the two institutions in applying information technology to quality assurance and educational enhancement.

Overview of the handover ceremony of the Learning Outcome Measurement Software

The event was attended by the Board of Rectors, leaders of various departments, and the software development team of LHU, along with representatives of the Board of Rectors and related units from Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy, and representatives from various partner universities.

The Learning Outcome Measurement Software, developed by a team of experts from LHU, features a user-friendly interface and flexible functionality, enabling accurate, objective, and transparent assessment of students’ achievement of learning outcomes. This educational technology (EdTech) solution is designed to support educational institutions in enhancing the effectiveness of student learning outcome assessments, following the outcome-based approach aligned with current demands for innovation in education management and quality assurance.

Notably, Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy was among the first institutions invited by LHU to pilot the software in early 2024. Following a rigorous pilot phase involving the direct participation of specialized faculties, the software demonstrated high practicality and effectiveness. The official handover ceremony marks the result of a fruitful collaboration, reflecting a shared commitment to advancing digital transformation and enhancing educational quality between the two instituions.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Lam Thanh Hien - Rector of LHU shared the University’s vision for developing a software ecosystem to support quality assurance in education, while also emphasizing the intention to further expand technology transfer partnerships with other higher education institutions.

Right after the handover ceremony, an intensive training session was delivered by the software development team. During the session, participants were introduced to specific features and usage procedures, and engaged in real-life situation discussions to ensure effective and consistent implementation across institutions.
